Thomas Iacono, the founder of Tommy’s Pizza, was a first generation American whose family immigrated from Italy. He grew up in New York City before moving to central Ohio. In 1952, Tommy opened his first restaurant here in Columbus on Fifth Ave near Cassidy Ave. In 1963 he opened up a second location in Upper Arlington off Lane Ave. At first the Upper Arlington location was just a small stand near the road and after a few years, he opened the store that stands there today. Offering a full menu we were first known as simply “Tommy’s Restaurant”. The name changed once the pizza business started to take off.<\/strong><\/p>

A third store serving the eastern part of the city opened shortly after on South Hamilton Rd. In the late 1970’s Tommy’s opened up the store on The Ohio State University campus. Finally in the mid 1980’s he opened a fifth location in the growing community of Dublin.<\/strong><\/p>

Tommy’s Pizza continues the tradition started by Tommy in 1952. We are the second oldest pizza restaurant in the city with over 60 years of serving Central Ohio. 1. What makes your pizza unique?<\/strong>
We use Tommy’s own recipe brought over from Italy for our dough which makes our crust flake like a cracker and crisps on the bottom when cooked.<\/strong><\/p>

2. How do you cut your pizzas?<\/strong>
All of our pizzas are cut mid-western style, in squares, unless requested otherwise.<\/strong><\/p>

3. Do any of your stores deliver?<\/strong>
We do not take orders over the phone for delivery, but you can order delivery on our website for both of our locations! You may also order delivery on the DoorDash app.<\/strong><\/p>

4. What are the five most popular pizza toppings?<\/strong>
Pepperoni followed closely by Mushroom and then Sausage. Green Pepper and Onion round out the top five. All of these most popular items make up our “All-The-Way” pizza.<\/strong><\/p>

5. Can you ship your pizzas across the country?<\/strong>
Unfortunately, we are not able to ship our pizzas. We receive lots of requests for this from customers who have moved away from Columbus. However, in order to ensure the highest quality of the product, we believe it is best fresh out of the oven.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
